The latest target for the cod climate scientists is log burning stoves.

They say you must use dry wood. You can never completely remove moisture from wood and how do you check it and how much should be removed?

To remove most of the moisture from wood you need to dry it in a kiln (using fossil fuel?) so why not use the heat for the kiln to heat the house instead?

If the wood is not burnt in a log burner what do you do with it? Burn it in the garden?

How will the Drax power station cope as it now only burns wood chips?  The wood chip comes from Canada. It is harvested using fossil fuel, chipped using fossil fuel, processed to remove water using fossil fuel, transported to the docks using fossil fuel, loaded onto ships using fossil fuel, transported across the sea using fossil fuel. unloaded using fossil fuel and transported to the power station using fossil fuel.  All this is done to avoid using clean coal ( developed after the smogs of the 50s and 60s and the Clean Air Act) while China uses vast amounts of coal and Germany is mining Lignite (very dirty semi coal) and opening up new mines

The only ‘dry’ fuels are coal, gas from fracking and nuclear.

The treatment we have now of ‘refugees’ is based on the 1951 UN agreement due to the appalling treatment of people in WWII. The UN of today and ‘refugees’ are totally different to the situation in 1951. It should be redrafted as a UK Act and to include Human Responsibilities. It resulted in the ECNR  (proposed by Elenor Roosvelt) that has now evolved into a totally different ECHR ( see theeuroprobe.org 2012 – 019) 30 Dec 2020

NEW REPORT ON REPLACEMENT MIGRATION ISSUED BY UN POPULATION DIVISION

NEW YORK, 17 March (DESA) — The Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) has released a new report titled “Replacement Migration: Is it a Solution to Declining and Ageing Populations?”. Replacement migration refers to the international migration that a country would need to prevent population decline and population ageing resulting from low fertility and mortality rates.

United Nations projections indicate that between 1995 and 2050, the population of Japan and virtually all countries of Europe will most likely decline. In a number of cases, including Estonia, Bulgaria and Italy, countries would lose between one quarter and one third of their population. Population ageing will be pervasive, bringing the median age of population to historically unprecedented high levels. For instance, in Italy, the median age will rise from 41 years in 2000 to 53 years in 2050. The potential support ratio — i.e., the number of persons of working age (15-64 years) per older person — will often be halved, from 4 or 5 to 2.

Focusing on these two striking and critical trends, the report examines in detail the case of eight low-fertility countries (France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, United Kingdom and United States) and two regions (Europe and the European Union). In each case, alternative scenarios for the period 1995-2050 are considered, highlighting the impact that various levels of immigration would have on population size and population ageing.

Major findings of this report include:

— In the next 50 years, the populations of most developed countries are projected to become smaller and older as a result of low fertility and increased longevity. In contrast, the population of the United States is projected to increase by almost a quarter. Among the countries studied in the report, Italy is projected to register the largest population decline in relative terms, losing 28 per cent of its population between 1995 and 2050, according to the United Nations medium variant projections. The population of the European Union, which in 1995 was larger than that of the United States by 105 million, in 2050, will become smaller by 18 million.

There is a trial of strength going on at the moment between the judges and parliament as to which has the ultimate authority to make law for the UK. As a democratic country the elected UK Parliament must be the ultimate authority not the unelected judges.

The Supreme Court was a requirement of the EU.  Blair and Lord Irvine then rewrote the conditions for becoming a judge ( down to magistrates) in such a way as to ensure the only Left Wing Woke activist lawyers could become judges. It also secured effective immunity for politicians from the law. The Tory Party has not repealed this since being in power so must be in agreement with it.

The consequence is that we have judges who very much lean towards criminals and the EU rather than the victims and police? They also seem to be heading towards being more in control of the country than the elected politicians in parliament.

We now have Judges who more Socialist Activists rather than strictly neutral judges’

There’s a distinction between 2 legal entities people commenting on fishing access need to make;

1) Is EU registered vessels fishing our waters under the CFPs foundation of ‘equal access to a common resource’

2) Is EU owned but UK registered ‘Flagships’ who are de-facto British and who are registered in Britain under the terms of EU freedom of establishment.

EU REGISTERED
The big factory ships many have recently seen tearing up the channel are EU registered. No one “sold quota to them” as the Remain campaign often liked to claim.
They fly another EU Member State’s flag, fishing against that states quotas. They are in British waters under the terms of ‘equal access’. They have quota to fish for species around Britain from the unfair EU ‘Relative Stability’ quota shares system. Where for example the EU has 90% of the southern North Sea Herring quota yet for years 95% of the catches are from what should be British waters.

FLAGSHIPS
Flagships who are registered as “British” managed to do so under the terms of EU ‘Freedom of Establishment’. Mrs Thatcher’s government tried to clamp down on them with a strong Economic Link in the 1988 Merchant Shipping Act, but this was overruled by the ECJ in the infamous Factortame case as a breech of the EUs freedoms.

Flagships have acquired up to half of what little quota share the UK does get under Relative Stability quota.
