Well, Did We Go Bankrupt Then?
It’s almost three months since we ignorant white oldies destroyed the United Kingdom by taking it out of the EU. What a price would be paid. The stock market would crumple, the pound collapse, the economy go into a spiralling recession, business confidence disappear, house prices plummet, and a plague of frogs infest Hampstead.
Of course it was only because we racist dum-dums, too stupid to make up our own minds, “believed Boris’s lies” that we had voted out. Meanwhile the people of Notting and Primrose Hills were far too smart to believe Boris. Instead they believed the lies told them by Osborne, Cameron, Lagarde, Carney and the Brussels pygmies.
So, what’s up? Just about everything as we move into Doomsday + 90 days. The stock market’s up. It’s booming. The pound, after an initial swoon, is doing rather well. House prices are strengthening. Business confidence in the UK has just had its biggest one month jump ever, unlike in Germany and France where it is collapsing. And Mr Carney has admitted that the Bank of England was making it all up when they said there was going to be a recession. Poor old Little England is actually the best performing major economy in Europe. But don’t expect to read that in the FT, Guardian, or Economist, the Pravdas and Izvestias of the Remainers.
You might also note that, unlike our EU friends, the UK has a determined and popular Prime Minister while France, Germany, Spain and Italy are either run by deeply unpopular leaders (France and Germany) or no leaders at all (Spain and Italy). Compared with the narcissistic chaos of the EU, the UK is an island of political stability.

The scholar of Islam and social sciences warned that large numbers of migrants are “calamitous” for the European people, and that neoliberal elites see Islamic terrorism, and state bankruptcy and collapse as collateral damage in their pursuit of endless wealth.
In an interview with Hungary’s Institute for Migration Research, Professor Belhaj discussed what he calls the Islamic moral economy.
He summarised this economy as based around the belief that “if there is money, it is because of Islam, and if there is Islam it will bring money”.

| Most Americansnever heard of Saul Alinsky. Yet his shadow darkens our coming election. Democrat frontrunners Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama both worship at the altar of Alinskyism . In a 1971 book called Rules for Radicals, Alinsky scolded the Sixties Left for scaring off potential converts in Middle America. True revolutionaries do not flaunt their radicalism, Alinsky taught. They cut their hair, put on suits and infiltrate the system from within. Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties. In his native Chicago, Alinsky courted power wherever he found it. His alliance with prominent Catholic clerics, such as Bishop Bernard Sheil, gave him respectability. His friendship with crime bosses such as Frank Nitti – Al Capone’s second-in-command – gave Alinsky clout on the street. In our book The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Sixties Radicals Siezed Control of the Democratic Party, my co-author David Horowitz and I trace the rise of Alinsky’s political influence since the 1930s. He excelled at wooing wealthy funders. Start-up money for his Industrial Areas Foundation – a training school for radical organizers – came from department-store mogul Marshall Field III, Sears Roebuck heiress Adele Rosenwald Levy, and Gardiner Howland Shaw, an assistant secretary of state for Franklin Roosevelt. Alinsky once boasted, “I feel confident that I could persuade a millionaire on a Friday to subsidize a revolution for Saturday out of which he would make a huge profit on Sunday even though he was certain to be executed on Monday.” One Alinsky benefactor was Wall Street investment banker Eugene Meyer, who served as Chairman of the Federal Reserve from 1930 to 1933. Meyer and his wife Agnes co-owned The Washington Post. They used their newspaper to promote Alinsky. Agnes Meyer personally wrote a six-part series in 1945, praising Alinsky’s work in Chicago slums. Her series, called “The Orderly Revolution”, made Alinsky famous. President Truman ordered 100 reprints of it. During the Sixties, Alinsky wielded tremendous power behind the scenes. When President Johnson launched his War on Poverty in 1964, Alinsky allies infiltrated the program, steering federal money into Alinsky projects. In 1966, Senator Robert Kennedy allied himself with union leader Cesar Chavez, an Alinsky disciple. Chavez had worked ten years for Alinsky, beginning in 1952. Kennedy soon drifted into Alinsky’s circle.

Roger Helmers electronic newsletter from Strasbourg
Please feel free to distribute this newsletter, or to quote from it. It is primarily written for euro-realists in the East Midlands, but may also be of interest to others concerned about the climate debate, or developments in the EU. If you receive the newsletter second-hand and want to go onto the e-mail list (or if you want to be deleted), please e-mail me onroger.helmer@europarl.europa.eu

The Newsletter and the Debrief
This newsletter will be short, because I’ve commented about most recent EU-related developments. Until June 23rd, I was reviewing developments in the Referendum Campaign, and I had intended to stop then. However there were numerous requests from party members up and down the country to continue the daily service, at least through the relatively chaotic times in the aftermath of the Brexit vote. Find my debriefs athttps://rogerhelmermep.wordpress.com/.
But perhaps I can share some reflections with you. There will be no newsletter in August, as the parliament takes its summer recess.

Subject: Re: Fwd: Re: Article 50? – a trap, we remain free to repeal the ECA
1972
To: Idris Francis <idris.francis@btinternet.com>

There does seem to be some serious confusion about Vienna, Article 50 and the ECA.
This is really a subject for experts – non-experts, frankly, seem almost inevitably to fall into the trap of confusing international and domestic law, miring themselves in utter confusion in the process.
Re-stating what I have been emphasising for over 20 years:
1. Repealing the ECA72 does not take us out of the EU. The repeal will simply disapply the EU treaties in the EU. The repeal will have no meaningful legal effect outside the EU.
2. In order to withdraw from the EU we must denounce the EU treaties, both TEU and TFEU.
3. This can be done in one of either two ways: we denounce under TEU Article 50, on two year’s notice, with the option of a trade deal with the EU (which we neither need nor want, as we trade at a massive deficit), or we denounce under the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties (VCLT).
4. Vienna basically gives us three options: immediate denunciation on the ground of corruption by West Germany of our signatories, denunciation on three month’s notice on the ground of material change of circumstances, which the referendum result amounts to, or denunciation on 12 month’s notice, for which no reason need be given, as the Convention accepts that 12 months is a reasonable period.
5. The ECJ has already ruled that Vienna applies to the EU treaties (el-YassiniCase). It is with respect nonsense on stilts to suggest otherwise, as the TEU and TFEU are clearly treaties between sovereign states.
6. The Scottish First Minister is also labouring under a number of delusions. The MSM are solemnly reporting that the Scottish Parliament, an assembly created by Parliament and exercising delegated powers only, has power to enlarge its authority and declare UDI, or call a referendum on UDI. It has no such power, and UDI by Scotland would be as much high treason by those organising it as UDI by Southern Rhodesia. The Scottish Executive has no role in either defence or foreign affairs, and absolutely no say in the EU question.
7. If the UK Parliament permits another referendum – highly unlikely, as the issue was settled in the 2014 referendum – and if Scots voted to become a German client state inside the EU (the SNP are adamantly opposed to Scottish independence and are effecitvely a pro-German, anti-British party) the better view under the rules on state succession is that Scotland would have to apply to the EU for membership, adopting the euro and Schengen from the word go. That would require passport and import controls at the Anglo-Scottish frontier.

Legend and the EU have it that it was Jean Monnet. Not so!
The initial idea was by Arthur Salter, a British diplomat, in the ‘20s. Monnet was a friend of his and took it up with enthusiasm. Monnet beavered away at the idea throughout the war and after. (see theeuroprobe.org and type the reference into the search box 2012 – 021 ( http://www.theeuroprobe.org/2012-21-the-origins-of-the-eu/
Also in the ‘20s Richard Coudenhove Kalergi started the Pan European movement that was incorporated into the EU. (2013 – 043 http://www.theeuroprobe.org/2013-044-couden/ )
However in 1942 the Germans were so confident they would win the war they set up a committee to decide how they would run Europe after the war. They produced a document Europaische Wirtschafts Gemeinsschaft (the European Economic Community)
By 1944 they realised that they were going to lose the war so they set up another committee to plan how they would win the peace. The leader was Ubergruppenfuhrer Dr Scheid. His idea was to set up by stealth what would become the EU to be run by Germany. (2016 – 038 http://www.theeuroprobe.org/2018-038-how-germany-prepared-to-reclaim-its-ambitions-to-rule-europe-after-the-war/ ) His was the idea of the EU we have now. Whether he knew of Monnet’s plan is not known but the two were very similar.
In 1964 Germany set up a committee to establish the EU. All the committee members were members of the wartime I G Faben/Nazi coalition. They used the 1942 Europaische Wirtschafts Gemeinsschaft document as the first draft of the EU. Boris is right and he has knocked the lid off a very nasty can of worms – more nasty than I think he fully realises. He has done Brexit a massive favour by drawing attention this very significant info that the BBC refuse to broadcast.

From the beginning, one of the main financiers of the “Brussels EU” was the West German Government. On April 24, 1964, the key architects of the “Brussels EU” – all of whom were active members of the IG Farben/Nazi coalition during WWII (IG Farben supplied the Zyklon B for the gas chambers) – met at the “Brussels EU” headquarters to start proceedings to establish the European Economic Community later to become the EU.
