2014 – 039 Hexthorpe invaded by Roma

Warnings by Nigel Farage of the consequences of open borders were ignored. He was vilified and accused of being a fascist and racist. His warnings have now been thoroughly vindicated. Sadly the voters of Hexthorpe elected a Labour MP, Rosie Winterton, and have now got what they voted for.

Angry villagers warn of riots unless police act on Roma: Residents say they will take law into their own hands if authorities do not take action over anti-social behaviour
Residents of Hexthorpe accuse new arrivals of fly-tipping and littering
Noise is forcing elderly to sleep with earplugs, they tell police at meeting

Angry villagers yesterday said riots could break out if police do not deal with hundreds of Roma immigrants who they claim have ruined their community.

Residents of Hexthorpe, South Yorkshire, said people would take the law into their own hands unless the authorities step in to combat anti-social behaviour.

2014 – 038 BBC Today programme and its bias

‘UKIP regarded as ‘Incompetent, venal and racist’’
inShare

The latest News-watch monitoring report covers 14 weeks of the Today programme. The findings include:

• EU matters relating to the structure and operation of the EU were inadequately covered. There is systematic ‘bias by omission’.

• Withdrawal from the EU was only barely considered. In 84 editions only 800 words were spoken by ‘come outers’ about the topic.

• Those who support the EU were given regular platforms for their views and were not challenged as rigorously as those who don’t.

• Items about withdrawal assumed it was supported principally by amateurish, potentially venal politicians with racist views.

• That withdrawal was a matter that concerned only the ‘right’ in British politics, and that those politicians were deeply divided.

It seems necessary to muzzle scientists who disagree with ‘Global Warming Due To Man’. The ‘approved’ Scientific Community is behaving like the Catholic Church who burnt scientists at the stake for declaring that the world was round not flat. (see 2012 – 015)

2014 – 036 The consequences of mass migration translated from the French

The Camp of the Saints tested against reality

Robert Henderson

The French writer Jean Raspail’s The Camp of the Saints was published in 1973. It is notorious or famous, according to your politics, for its story of the Third World poor successfully invading the First World. The invaders come armed not with guns and bombs, but the potent weapons of their huge numbers and the knowledge that the self-destructive ideology of Western elites – what we would nowadays call the “anti-racist” part of political correctness – had warped the minds of most of those elites and also those of the masses of the First World, who have been beaten into a state where they either cannot see when their own interests are being sacrificed on the altar of one worldism or are cowed to the point where they are paralysed into inaction.

At the time of its writing the book was set in twenty or so years in the future. As the story opens a fleet of 100 ramshackle ships dubbed the Ganges Armada gathers in India and soon sets off for Europe. In the ships are one million of the subcontinent’s poor. The intention of the Armada is to run the ships aground on European shores – this is a strictly one way voyage – decant their cargo and present the land on which they descend with a dilemma, namely, allow the million to invade or resist them with force with the ultimate sanction being mass slaughter of the invaders.

It takes the ships fifty daysto arrive on the northern shores of the Mediterranean with Southern France as the final destination. As the Ganges Armada sails the Western elites are either starry eyed about their dream of a world in which there is no us and them – no nation states, just Mankind with a capital M – or paralysed by the one-world propaganda which has been so assiduously fed to them.

2014 – 035 The EU control over the UK expands.

On the 1st November 2014 the right of Parliament to legislate over us in 43 areas, the important ones, will be removed and be made subject to approval via QMV,  or Qualified Majority Voting.

Falling for the meme that has been floating around on diverse websites, including this one, we see the myth perpetrated that: “On the 1st November 2014 the right of Parliament to legislate over us in 43 areas … will be removed and be made subject to … QMV”.

Included in a magical mystery list is Article 50 of the TEU – that which relates to the procedures for leaving the EU – the supposed removal of the veto translated as making the withdrawal of a member state conditional on QMV. Needless to say, there are no original sources cited for the assertions.

In fact, there is no loss of veto coming into force on 1 November. The change over from unanimous voting to QMV in about 40 areas has already taken place. It came with the entry into force of the Lisbon Treaty on 1 December 2009, so these changes have already been in place for nearly five years.

What does change on 1 November 2014 is that a there is a new system of QMV. A new “double majority” will apply when, according to Article 16 of the consolidated treaty, “a qualified majority shall be defined as at least 55% of the members of the Council, comprising at least fifteen of them and representing Member States comprising at least 65% of the population of the Union”.

2014 – 033 The Coalition proposes to take control over children from parents

From: Julia Gasper <uppermordent@gmail.com>
The Christian Institute in the UK just put out the following news.

The Coalition government, under the guidance of Stonewall, is proposing to bring in a law that  will police every parent and every home, with a ten year prison sentence for any parent who is held by social workers to have harmed a child’s  physical, intellectual, emotional,  social or behavioural development
Undoubtedly this is aimed at curtailing religious and moral education.
This is extremely sinister. The proposed legal definition of emotional neglect is so broad that parents could be arrested and imprisoned for teaching their children that homosexuality is  wrong or for trying to pass their Christian faith on to their children. There is a very active secularist agenda working from the EU and in this country through Common Purpose.(2013 – 004)
The implications for parental rights, children’s rights and the rights of freedom of expression and religion are huge.
The same alarming tendency is to be seen in Scotland, where the government has announced a  plan to appoint a social worker as “guardian” over every child born in Scotland. The parents  will have to justify what they do and what they teach to this social worker!
Another sinister proposal gravely undermining parental rights.
Note also what the acting CEO of Stonewall recently said. Key sentence: “We must use our  skills and energy to make sure homophobia, biphobia and transphobia are eradicated from our  schools, our streets, ours sports fields, our workplaces, our churches and our homes.”  In  other words to teach heteronormativity will soon be a crime. How does she propose to police what parents say to their children in their own homes?
Please all write to your MPs and your local papers and protest about this Big Brother police state legislation.
Yours,
Julia.

2014 – 030 The EU scheming behind Scottish Independence

Scottish independence: A decoy

Independence: An EU decoy.

The question of Scottish independence is problematic.  It is a decoy.  Devolution is a political mirage. Strings are being pulled from afar.

It started long before the question of Scottish independence with the wholly divisive EU promotion of minority languages and identities, culminating in the European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages – as part of a range of measures to weaken national identities to bring about “ever closer union” in the EU.

In the closing words of Jean Monnet’s memoirs he states “The sovereign nations of the past can no longer solve the problems of the present: they cannot ensure their own progress or control their own future. And the Community itself is only a stage on the way to an organised world of tomorrow.”

To this end we have seen EU funding for special protection and recognition of obscure and arcane identities across Europe, most notably Wales, with state funding of S4C, the Welsh language TV station. But it is a fiction.

2014 – 029 The CAP – why food is so expensive in UK

Comment by Lord Stoddart of Swindon
“I have read your interesting paper. It is short, accurate and succinct …It would be helpful if it were circulated more widely….”
Britain and its Agricultural Policy by Edward Spalton
Since 1 January 1973 Britain has not had an agricultural policy of its own. British farming and food production have been entirely controlled by the European Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) with the institutions of the UK as its agent. This is a very short note to sketch in outline what our own policy used to be like, what we got into in 1973, where that policy originated and what it is like today.
The 1947 Agriculture Act
Britain had come close to starving twice through submarine blockade in both wars and was also very short of foreign exchange. It was therefore decided to have a policy which would encourage the production of a considerable proportion of our own food whilst allowing all the world to send its food here without customs duty. Farmers received subsidy from the taxpayer to ensure a price at which an efficient farm could be profitable. This was negotiated each year in a price review between the farming organisations and the Ministry of Agriculture, subject to parliamentary approval. So, if the world price of (say) wheat was £25 per ton and and efficient British farmer needed £30 per ton to be profitable, a “deficiency payment” of £5 per ton would be paid. Without this British farms could not compete with overseas areas enjoying more favourable climatic and other conditions. Thus the taxpayer paid once for a degree of food security but the market was otherwise allowed to operate freely. There was bureaucracy but very little by present day standards.
Low food prices assisted the less well off and reduced pressure on wages. It was a simple, logical system for a largely urban population . Commonwealth and other countries could ship their produce here freely and our industrial exports flowed in the opposite direction.
The Approach to the changeover
The British government tried from the early Sixties to become a member of the European Economic Community, which was called “the common market”. By the early Seventies, they were telling people that the Commonwealth countries no longer wanted anything to do with us and that our future lay in Europe. As soon as we were inside the Common External Tariff of the EEC, they
said, our exports to Europe would boom. I recently (2013) heard a recording of Roy Jenkins saying this and well remember a young John Selwyn Gummer, now Lord Deben, telling our corn trade association conference at Buxton the same thing. As well as sacrificing our own fishery, the government was ready to ditch our traditional food suppliers in the Commonwealth who would be largely excluded from Britain by a high EEC tariff barrier. The British “family of nations” would be deliberately weakened. We would have to switch to buying European for most foods and at prices far above the world prices we had previously paid. People would have to pay much more for their food.
The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)
The original six countries of the EEC hammered out their policy in strenuous negotiations during 1962. These went on so long that four of the delegates had to be carried out, suffering from exhaustion! Like all EEC policies it became binding in its entirety on existing and future members.
Put very simply, the policy kept out most temperate foreign foods by high import duties. It guaranteed prices to farmers by providing a buyer of last resort. So the consumer paid more for his food and then had to pay taxes so that the EEC agencies could buy up surplus produce at prices which were thought adequate to provide a reasonable living to keep the small peasant farmers of
Europe from revolt and communism.
This was the origin of the grain, beef and butter mountains and the wine lakes. Agricultural productivity was rising very quickly. With an open-ended guaranteed price for all that was produced, these surpluses became grotesque. Much was exported to countries outside the EEC at prices far below the cost of production, thus destroying agriculture in developing countries.
Even that was not enough and much of the surplus was “denatured” by making it unfit for human consumption, often in animal feed – to produce further livestock surpluses! The French took full advantage of this. After joining the EEC an Irish politician described the CAP as “Ireland’s oil”!
They now shipped food to Britain at high guaranteed prices. Formerly they and the French had to compete for our trade in the world market.
Where did the CAP come from?
Obviously, from the negotiations between the original members but it was such a strange policy, so very detailed and ornate that there had to be an ideology, a coherent plan behind it. The official, guaranteed price of wheat, for instance, was calculated from the place in Europe which was reckoned to have the greatest shortage of wheat, Duisburg in Germany. As you travelled further away from Duisburg, the price got a fraction lower each 100 kilometres. It was all very strange and required massive officialdom. Where did it come from? The answer will not be entirely surprising to those who have read books like Rodney Atkinson’s “Europe’s Full Circle” and “Fascist Europe Rising” but the precise fit between what was proposed in Berlin in 1942 and what was agreed in Brussels in 1962 is remarkable. The original papers were the record of a conference, entitled European Economic Community (1942)
Excerpts from the introduction by Professor-Doktor Heinrich Hunke, Economic Adviser to the Gauleiter of Greater Berlin (Dr. Josef Goebbels), President of the Berlin Association of Merchants and Industrialists.
“Politically the three power pact has restored to honour the age old concepts of of life, people and living space and secured a natural order and neighbourly coexistence as the ideal of the New Order for the peoples of Europe. Militarily the basis of English economic policy…is shattered” “State economic leadership …forms the core of the new theory and practice. It replaces the autonomic egotism and automatic , self-acting laws of the Anglo Saxon theory”
“It contains secondly the obligation that from considerations of European freedom, continental Europe must receive first loyalty in all economic transactions”.
“The old industrialising tendencies which owed their rise to the falling prices of agricultural and raw material producing countries must now belong to the past”
“With an assured demand for agricultural products and raw materials at reasonable prices, a great increase in prosperity has arisen….”
Excerpts from the paper The Economic Face o “ f the New Europe” by Walther Funk, Reichsminister for the Economy, President of the Reichsbank and Minister for Post War Planning.
(talking of the time before the establishment of the Nazi EEC)
“Buyers were lacking who were ready to take significant quantities at stable prices” “self sufficiency in food supplies was lost”
“…securing basic supplies of food and raw materials … a true economic freedom”
“ This space* can however feed and clothe them and amply supply them with all necessary goods” (* Space = Raum, the European Lebensraum or living space)
“Also the basis of food production, taking into account the possibility of infrastructure improvement, is completely sufficient”.
“Nevertheless as trade within the great economic area, it will enjoy all the advantages of a state controlled market. The farmer in Norway, the market gardener in Holland and the Danish poultry
breeder will need have no concern that they can dispose of their produce or have it left on their hands. They also need not worry that the price will fairly reward their efforts. They will know that their production and sales prospects are secured by inter-state treaties and that there is no more
room for speculators and crises”.
The Same but Different
Of course, the economists, ideologues and planners of the Forties could not foresee the huge increases in agricultural productivity which would create the food mountains. The brisk managers of the Third Reich would quickly have adjusted the system. But in the post war Europe it was not so easy to alter treaties, once they were agreed. The French and the Irish would exploit the system for all it was worth, claiming European idealism as they pocketed the wealth of the British housewife and taxpayer. When Britain made reasonable requests for reform, they were often treated with contempt as anti European. In one debate an impassioned French lady proclaimed “We are building
Europe and you are arguing about the price of cabbages!” Eventually reform of a sort did come but for a run of forty years, the EU’s biggest policy and budget
item was ruled by the principles and precepts laid down in Berlin in 1942. The similarities of policy are far too great to be merely coincidental. The detestation of genuine free trade and intense dislike of “the Anglo Saxons” remain as fixed attitudes in European economic and ideological circles to this day. The economist, Roger Bootle discovered this on a visit to Germany in September 2012. He wrote . “There is a chasm between us in our understanding of the way the world works”* The EU system has now “decoupled” most farm subsidy from food production. Farmers receive a Single Farm Payment and for what? Well, essentially for being farmers! It is based loosely on what each farm used to produce years ago. Increasingly it is linked to ever more precise evironmental
regulation. Through various Directives the EU now has the power to control the intensity with which Britain is farmed. There are incentives for environmental improvements and MEPs recently voted against an earlier measure which would have permitted farmers to claim subsidy twice for the same activity – once for “stewardship” and secondly for the contribution to the “green” agenda.
At the same time they agreed that an increased part of the payment might be “recoupled” to food production. This can vary from country to country which will hardly be the “level playing field” which the Single Market is supposed to create. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland deal directly with Brussels on CAP matters and are treated as separate EU countries for this purpose. So farmers in one part of the UK could be in competition with farmers in another part who are receiving subsidy whilst they receive none. The “regional principle” was also part of the 1942 plans to weaken Europe’s nation states. It has been one of the
achievements of this policy to create unfair situations, setting people in one part of the UK against each other. A Foreign Office document (Ref FCO 30/1048) of 1971 shows that this was entirely intentional – to distract people and deflect people’s “feelings of alienation from government” once they realised how powerless they were in relation to “the remote and unmanageable workings of the Community”. So the lunacy, inequalities and opportunities for corruption of a single agricultural policy from Sicily to the North of Finland continue – still hugely bureaucratic, a massive budget item to be funded by contributions from British taxpayers. To use an Irishism, it is certain that we will get on better together with our European neighbours when we are apart and not unequally yoked in the alien polity of the EU. A commentary and full translation of the 1942 papers are available on www.freenations.freeuk.com under the title “The EU’s Evil Pedigree”.

2014 – 028 The facts about the Lisbon Treaty

A historical fact buried by the mass media: the EU has been USE since the end of 2007  from Global Political Analysis

A historical fact, yet hardly anyone is aware of it: the EU has been one political-economic unit, that is, one country, since the acceptance of the Lisbon Treaty at the end of year 2007. The Lisbon Treaty is the very same as the former EU Constitution. Only the façade elements – the word “constitution”, the flag and the anthem – are omitted from the text but in practice the very content of the EU Constitution itself is retained and implemented, the flag is used and the anthem is played on a regular basis. By the EU national leaders signing one federal constitution in 2007, the affected countries actually merged into one federal union governed by a superstate, which might be called “USE”. The main constitutional elements of the Lisbon Treaty: Continue reading

2014 – 027 The Disgraceful European Arrest Warrent

2014 – 026 EU transfer of UK companies to Europe.

From ‘Brave New Europe?’ 2008
Since then the EU has funded the closure of several UK manufacturing plants and transferred them to Europe. see 2012 – 021 The origins of the EU. It was a 1942 plan of Hitler’s to de-Industrialize Britain if he won the War. The EU are following on.

20. UK Jobs, Trade and Trade Unions
It is continually claimed that we export far more to the EU than they export to us and that many UK jobs are dependent upon our staying in the EU. Not so – the EU exports considerably more to the UK (by some £40Bn). The government fiddles the figures. A significant proportion of what we export to the rest of the world is shipped via Rotterdam. This is included in ‘exports to the EU’ to make them seem greater than they are (see ref. 2006-99 for a good example of how the EU is wrecking UK companies).
For the origin of Clegg’s 3 million lost jobs whopper see 2014 – 066
The Commission intend to implement a common financial services structure across Europe. This is based on the expensive French “three peaked”. The result is to raise the “rivals costs” of the city of London to allow inefficient French and other European markets to compete. It is also, another thin slice of the Euro-salami that is intended to transfer the world’s centre for financial services from London to Frankfurt and Paris.
The Commission has spent the past decade taking control of funds with the Collective Investment Scheme directives, Banks and Insurance Capital under and investment firms and stockbrokers under MiFID – Markets in Financial Instruments Directive. All of these have cost British business dearly in terms of regulatory costs and investors in either higher charges or lower rates of return. The Commission is now nearing completion of the job of controlling financial services by regulating hedge funds and private equity funds under the proposed Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (“AIFMD”) and the establishment of a European Securities and Markets Authority.
Once again EU Regulation will devastate one of UK’s most successful enterprises by increasing UK costs substantially to the advantage of France, Germany and Switzerland. 2008-26, ref-2008-33 In addition Northern Rock could have been quietly saved by The Bank of England if EU Regulations had not prevented such action.
The origin of the banking crisis was Government policy as enforced and monitored by the worlds banking regulators and Clinton and his Socialist Administration compelling US banks to comply with Jimmy Carter’s Community Reinvestment Act. This made them give mortgages to millions of people who did not have the income to repay them (on the premises. that they would then vote for him). The US banks did so with vigour then bundled these toxic loans, or Collateral Debt Obligations, alongside normal sound loans sold them to other banks. Curiously banks regard loans as ‘assets’ and credit worthy as Credit Refernce agencies gave these loans their seal of approval. Banks did not check them out properly to judge their true worth. In addition.
UK Commercial Banks, with the blessing of Central Banks, encouraged the public to take out excessive loans and mortgages without any concern as to how they would be repaid. We, the public, did so and overstated our incomes with equal enthusiasm. This has been made far, far worse by 13 years of Nu Labour reducing the UK to a state of bankruptcy and trashing most private pensions. The assets and wealth of our nation have also been squandered on a catalogue of administrative blunders. Public sector management and Quangos have been packed with non-productive, Nu Labour acolytes in phoney jobs. Work has been transferred overseas and the benefit culture changed for many from a safety net to something more like a hammock. Vast sums of money have been poured into the even more profligate EU.
The Bank of England could have quietly resolved Black Rock’s crisis but for EU Regulations.

2014 – 025 Cameron’s promised Referendum could well be a trap

The Referendum on UK’s continued membership of the EU could be a cynical trap.

Strictly speaking the Vienna Convention for Treaties confirms that Heath’s treachery means our membership of the EU is null and void. However such legalities are completely ignored by our political elite.

1. Referenda have no legal status. If the result is overwhelmingly in favour of leaving the EU the government can quite legally ignore it. This has happened in France and Holland where their ‘No to the EU’ was rejected “as the voters did not understand what they were voting against”. The Irish gave the ‘wrong’ result and were force to do it again. The EU poured millions of euros into Ireland to bribe and spin their way to the ‘correct’ result.

2. Will a date be given or will Cameron and his successors continually ‘kick the can further down the road’ so we never arrive at a fixed date. It should be remembered that Cameron is a habitual liar. (see no 14 below)

3. Who will write the question. How that is written can guide the voter to a given desired result.

4. Who will have the vote? It could well be all EU citizens in the UK (or even all EU citizens after March 31 2017) but must only be those who have been UK citizens prior to 1997 (and their children). If post 1997 EU citizens are allowed to vote it will be a dishonest and rigged Referendum against the UK citizens.
We have the example in the Scottish Referendum where the soldiers in the Scottish regiments were not allowed to vote while very many non Scottish EU citizens were.

2014 – 023 EUROPOL, EUROJUST and EUROGENDFOR

EUROPOL, EUROJUST and EUROGENDFOR

As with so much from the EU and their Agenda, it has proved very difficult to get anything definitive out of them of what they intend. It has required much digging to get this information – and it’s often been impossible to get any written confirmation.

As such the following paragraphs can be taken as accurate until such time as the EU issues a formal and unambiguous statement that the eventual circumstance will be different and what safeguards there will be. The most definitive reference is by Gerard Batten MEP (ref. 2006-101). Of considerable alarm now is the EU Arrest Warrant where you can be arrested without evidence and  held without charge. You can be extradited to any country in the EU and held for an unlimited time without charge.

A). EUROPOL is the ‘European Police Force’. They answer to Eurojust, the EU prosecution service, and to the EU Council of Ministers – not to the citizens. They’re currently headquartered in The Hague with offices in London and a training school in England. They will eventually have precedence over all police forces in the UK.

At the moment they are a small token force and are keeping a very low profile indeed – until the EU Constitutional Treaty is fully ratified. The reason for this is that the UK still retains a veto in the Council of Ministers on foreign policy, home affairs and justice. We will eventually lose our vetoes and Europol will then take over.

Interestingly one of the bodies set up under the Tampere EU Council meeting in 1999 was the European Police College. It is now situated in Hampshire and trains senior European law enforcement officers. The new Director of the College is a Hungarian, Mr Ferenc Banfi. Mr Banfi was a member of the Hungarian Communist Party and a policeman under their murderous communist regime. He has claimed that, “It is only a question of time before Europol will have full executive powers; it maybe five or ten years but it will happen”.

“The impulse to possess turf is a powerful one for all species; yet it is one that people must overcome. sensitivity over the relationship between international responsibility and national sovereignty [is a]considerable obstacle to the leadership at the international level. Sovereignty is a principle which will yield only slowly and reluctantly to the imperatives of global environmental cooperation.” [“Report of the Commission on Global Governance,” eco-logic Magazine (publ. By Environmental Conservation Organization, Hollow Rock, TN), January/February 1996, p.4.]

Conservative environmental scientists have known for years that global forces behind the scenes were moving toward one-world government, but it was not until recently that it was possible to see the comprehensive plan, published in an official document offered to the world, entitled Our Global Neighborhood: The Report of the Commission on Global Governance http://www.cgg.ch/CHAP1.html>. [Oxford University Press, ISBN 0-19-827997-3, 410 pages.] As evidenced by the statement quoted above, its recommendations are arrogantly bold – an indicator of the confidence the radical environmentalists have at this point about their chances for success in implementing their agenda. They are also frighteningly serious.

Who are the Campaign for an Independent Britain

We are a cross-party campaigning organisation who believe that continued membership of the European Union poses grave threats to Britain’s liberties, independence and economic prosperity. We seek the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union and for the undemocratic, obsolete and fraud-ridden EU to be superseded by modern, democratic structures that enable the peoples of Europe to co-operate without loss of any nation’s freedoms and way of life. 2014 – 018 Jim Reynolds Speech to the Greeks

A SPEECH FOR GREECE

November 2013

Dear Friends, (emphasise friends)

Today in the UK, if one opposes the European Union the Eurofanatics say that we are anti European; against other European peoples; little Englanders; fruit-cakes (pause), we love Europe, we hate the EU.

My name is Jim Reynolds and I am a Vice-Chairman representing the Campaign for an Independent Britain. On behalf of our organisation I come to Greece in full hearted friendship for the Greek people and for our colleagues from all over Europe, who are fighting for the return of democratic self government to their countries and deliverance from their debt slavery, enforced by that imperial project, the Euro currency.

We in the Campaign for an Independent Britain are from all parties and none. We come from right, left and centre and all we want is our country back. Our organisation was formed in 1969 under a different name as a cross party coalition opposed to Common Market entry in 1973. It is an umbrella group supported by public donation to which other Eurosceptic organisations are affiliated. We campaign for the restoration of full national sovereignty to the United Kingdom by its withdrawal from the obligations of the Treaties of the European Union and the repeal of the European Communities Act 1972 as amended so that Parliament may legislate freely and may co-operate with other nations as it thinks fit. We are a broad church of political opinion but will not tolerate racists or extremists and reject any organisation known to be motivated by anti-democratic intentions.

Our country has been betrayed by certain Prime Ministers. Edward Heath in 1972 took us into what was then called a Common Market on a narrow vote in Parliament of 309 to 301 whilst concealing from all MPs the terms of entry. Had just 5 votes gone the other way we would not now be members of the EU. Harold Wilson in 1975 claimed he had secured new terms of membership and aided by a heavily financially funded campaign, the full support of the BBC and almost all British newspapers he secured a 67% vote by 65% of the electorate to stay in

In 1983, the men who later became our Prime Ministers Tony Blair and Gordon Brown gained their seats in Parliament for the first time by promising, if elected, to take us out of the European Union but changed their tune when elected. Over many years we have printed and distributed thousands of factual leaflets on many subjects and organised public gatherings and films. We have a website www.freebritain.org.uk. In 2010 after our most recent general election to Parliament we supplied every member of our House of Commons and House of Lords a booklet entitled “A House Divided” which asked whether our Parliament can serve two masters, the Nation and the European Union It tells of the lies and deceits perpetuated in order to gain public support and the loss of Parliamentary sovereignty. Turning now to those countries of Europe that have joined the EU, something very strange has happened to the countries of Europe over the last fifty years through the deceit of our politicians –the leaders who should be serving the interests of their own  peoples who elect them. By meeting together with politicians from other countries in the EU they have increasingly discovered that, as a class, they have more in common with each other and with the bankers than they do with the people they are supposed to serve. Little by little they have created a super state structure to which they have given their loyalty and obedience which should only be   to their own countries and peoples.
